THE YOUNG GUNS !!!!

As my third year in college is about to complete,I have noticed one interesting thing about the mindset of the students of our college....As the election for TPRs were going on,I heard people saying "abe ek bangu..ek non bangu hona chahiye".And it was not the opinion of one or two people but a whole bunch of people.And I was standing back and I started thinking that what would happen if our politicians and other officials also start to think like us.....just imagine if our PM starts thinking Racially. what would happen to our country like all the assets will be inclined towards Punjab....India is a country of different religions and cultures.

I understand that there are large variations in each regions and religions. Some states are well developed while some are way lagging behind. Some have high standards of living while some are striving in poverty...thanx to the policies of some state leaders. But that doesn't give right to anyone to discriminate on the basis of race.The perfect example of equality is the new US president BARACK OBAMA. Although Osama and Obama rhyme similar. But except that there is nothing common among them. The Africans so called "blacks"in us were brought to the states as slaves and now one of them is the president of the most powerful country .In the elections of our college, the nominations for different posts also reflects the racial mindset of us. Some are trying to attract votes of their state people while other are fighting among themselves that there should be only one representative belonging to same state. So I want to appeal to the young guns of India to to change their mindset and think as we belong to the same country. Remember the slogan "I am an Indian first....".Start thinking as a people of single country rather than people of different states..We are the young guns of India. People have great expectations from us...We are supposed to set examples so that our successors follow it.
